How We're Organized

The Church Council Officers of this congregation are elected every year in the month of December at the annual meeting of the congregation.  These positions include president, vice president, treasurer and secretary.  Also elected at the annual meeting, are the chairpersons of each of our standing committees:  Membership, Education, Social Action, and Maintenance.  The congregation council, which meets monthly, consists of the pastor, the officers, and the committee chairs.  All meetings are open to all members.  Duties and responsibilities of officers and the congregation council are outlined in the constitution and bi-laws.

  Our ministry is most often carried out in the following manner.  A need is identified by a member of our congregation and brought forward to the council.  Needs of any and all kinds are addressed:  those of an individual, a family, the community, our nation or another nation.  The council determines how Fellowship can best address these needs, financially, or through volunteer work, food and clothing drives, whatever means are available.  Ad-hoc committees and special projects are developed as needed.
